The Sanko Group's mainstream is instrumentation technology. This technology is indispensable for operating and monitoring industrial facilities in all fields, from production plants, energy plants, and social infrastructure to amusement. Back in 1949, the founding year of the SANKO group, all domestic oil refineries in the pacific coast were finally allowed to resume operations after the war. Opportunity for the introduction of advanced plant technology and the redevelopment of facilities drastically increased into a new era of plant industry. Instrumentation, which is a technology for automatic control of plants, had long been a focus of the company's attention. (At the time, the term instrumentation had not yet been well known.) The founder of SANKO SHOKAI, which became the SANKO Co. later, had enthusiastically believed that instrumentation would be a vital technology for the development of industry, thus it started the very first business of the company .

For more than 70 years since then, as a pioneer in instrumentation engineering, we have well adapted with the development of society while responding to technological and industrial innovations. We always aimed to provide total engineering for the instrumentation covering the life cycle of plant facilities with top quality that exceeds user expectations in the global market of more than 30 countries. We are grateful for the understanding and support of our users and the steady efforts of our employees that have enabled the SANKO Group to grow up to now.

The world is now trying to steer a course from the conventional economic system that seeks expansion and growth to one that makes progress with the premise of environmental and social sustainability. Here, too, instrumentation will be a certain technology of the future industry. This includes solar and wind power generation systems, as well as hydrogen and ammonia-related facilities that are being developed as new energy sources. But the concept of building systems by connecting fields, which is the basis of instrumentation, remains the same. We will continue to evolve towards higher performance and efficiency while integrating new technologies for a better society and for the future of our stakeholders.
